The Cultural Heritage Browser of Serbia is the national project in the field of digitization in culture, initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Media with the strategic support of Microsoft Serbia. The aim of this project is to present digitized funds and provide authentic information on the cultural heritage, preserved in libraries, archives, museums, galleries and monument protection institutions.

As the first unified browser for cultural heritage search and mapping of monuments and cultural institutions of the Republic of Serbia, the Browser guaranties the credibility of the processed data and allows searching by a key word. Visitors of the portal can obtain basic information about the term entered in the search field.

As such, the Browser can be the driver of many positive processes, both institutional cooperation, as well as understanding and strengthening cultural identity, attracting new audiences, and the popularizing culture and art in society itself.
