The European Days of Culture event held in Vienna from October 10th to 11th brought together experts and organizations from Europe, and the organizers are the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), Vienna Business Agency, Kreativwirtschaft Austria and the Austrian Ministry of Labor and Economy. The goal of this meeting was to connect European organizations and individuals involved in supporting creative industries.

As a panelist at the prestigious Policy Forum, held in the atrium of the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Ana Ilić, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia for Creative Industries and Tourism, together with the other participants, shared her views as well as experiences and ways in which the Republic of Serbia provides support to creative industries.

“The key to the development of the creative industries sector lies in the effective coordination of all actors, which is why the role of the Serbia Creates platform, which operates within the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, is extremely important. This is very important, because Serbia is the only country in the region where creative industries, innovation and education are the main pillars of the strategy for the development of modern society, but also for the promotion of Serbia in the world as a modern and innovative country,” said Ana Ilić at the panel.

She presented the project of building the first creative-innovative multifunctional space Ložionica in Belgrade, which will be the largest regional center for all creatives, cross-sectoral and international cooperation.
